WWWP (Wisconsin Well Woman Program)

The Wisconsin Well Woman's Program (WWWP) provides preventive health screening services to women with little or no health insurance coverage. WWWP pays for mammograms and Pap tests. The program is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services, Division of Public Health and is available in Forest County. WWWP pays for breast and cervical screenings for some of the most common women's health concerns.

 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Woman age 45 through 64 (in some cases woman as young as 35 can apply), and
  • Your income is within the program's guideline limits, and
  • You do not have health insurance, or the insurance you have doesn't cover routine check-ups and screening, or you are unable to pay the deductible or co-payment

Covered services are available from participating health care providers at no cost to WWWP clients. There is no premium, co-payment or deductible for the Well Woman's Program. Not all covered services are available from every provider.

Women interested in applying for the program can call Deb at the Health Department to arrange an appointment for possible enrollment 715-478-3371.

Proof of age and income is needed in order to complete the enrollment form.
